Creative Director (Agency) – Birmingham – c£50,000pa

  • Can you create campaigns that get a reaction (across the Mix)?
  • Can you influence and lead a team of headstrong Creatives and Account Handlers?
  • Already a CD or Art Director (not a designer only – sorry!) – you can come up with great concept and strategy.
  • You will of course have an agency background and some B2B experience is preferred please… and you need to be able to conceptualise and scamp as well as execute.


Internal Sales Support – £22,000pa – Plus Company Bonus – Small Heath

  • You must be able to find your way confidently around a calculator as you’ll be required to work out quotes based on measurements.


New Business Development Manager – PR & Marketing agency – Birmingham up to £45,000pa

  • Develop and implement an annual multi-channel New Business strategy – being the go-to person with new ideas on how to position and promote the agency’s brand in the market.
  • Nurture relationships with prospective clients, face to face and over the phone (and inspire and involve key Stakeholders and the internal team)
  • Research industry landscapes to identify businesses, sectors and opportunities to target, with specific budget potential in mind (£75k+)
  • As this is a brand-new role, you will need to create and manage an accurate and up to date CRM system of quality leads and enquiries
  • Competitor analysis – keeping up to date within agency industry, utilising information to shape new business direction. Monitor evaluate and report on social media performance (and that of competitors)
  • Maintain a rolling calendar of potential networking events (including opportunities for speakers, seminars, partnerships and 3rd party collaborations)
  • Coordinate and circulate the agency’s monthly New Business pipeline – arranging follow up meetings to maintain engagement and momentum across the agency
  • Identify and manage all sources of lead generation across the business
  • Maintain all key new business assets – including presentations, images, case studies and website
  • Oversee the agency’s social media in conjunction with the agency’s social media team
  • Plan, write and co-ordinate tenders and associated activity
  • Manage and maintain our presence in relevant industry directories and websites (e.g. B2B Marketing, RAR, PRCA, etc,)
  • Attend client meetings and presentations to articulate and promote the Wyatt case
  • Ensure the availability of up-to-date case studies and client testimonials, online and in print
  • Coordinate monthly PR activities, helping generate increased coverage and exposure
  • Produce monthly reports and website analytics (in conjunction with the Wyatt web team) highlighting account status
  • Oversee the awards entry programme, maintaining a calendar of events and project managing submissions and event attendance
  • Lead and/or support new business presentations, including the creation of pitch strategy and documents
  • Collate data and metrics demonstrating the effectiveness and ROI for each campaign, using the information to inform and refine on-going activity
  • Meet or exceed annual new business targets for both marketing, digital and PR (measured– as individually agreed – by the number of leads, credentials meetings, pitches and accounts won)


Technical knowledge, professional qualifications and experience

  • Exposure to PR, marketing and multi-channel communications in a B2B environment – ideally gained in an agency setting, and preferably supported with a relevant degree
  • Commercial awareness across key industry sectors including manufacturing, engineering and the built environment
  • Previous experience in a new business development role
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to establish rapport
  • An interest in and flair for qualitative and quantitative research, supported with strong analytical and numerate ability
  • Familiar with MS Office programs, especially Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Exceptional time management and administrative capability
  • Able to write effectively across a full mix of work, from tenders and tweets to blogs and email
  • A passion for knowledge and an awareness of, emerging trends, technologies and platforms.
